Company expands insurance carriers and products to Pennsylvania and New York states

BOSTON, Mass., March 10, 2015 – InsuraMatch.com announces a first-of-its-kind online auto insurance quoting system that digitally replicates the advice of a local agent by including customers’ personality and preferences when recommending auto insurance carriers that best match their personal needs.

The online insurance agency has begun its national expansion plans and works with eight carriers that offer Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Flood, Motorcycle/ATV, Boat/PWC, RV, and Umbrella insurance policies to residents in Pennsylvania, New York and soon Connecticut. InsuraMatch also offers flood insurance to New Jersey residents.

InsuraMatch.com is designed for the way consumers want to research, compare and shop, modelling the best online shopping sites. “Ratings and reviews are an integral part of how people shop today, but the insurance industry has been slow to respond,” notes Erin Clark, the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. The InsuraMatch site will soon offer consumers hundreds of ratings and reviews from customers with first-hand experience with any carrier they’re considering. “Our goal is to provide great choices and help people get under the hood to know what they are buying. We’re truly shooting for happily ever after,” added Clark.

InsuraMatch’s unique matching software provides each customer with a “Match Score,” which measures your compatibility level with an insurance carrier. For instance, some consumers may value companies who offer “green” initiatives more than other carriers. InsuraMatch factors this consumer preference into its quote formula and provides a higher match score for carriers who provide discounts to environmentally-conscious customers.

The matching formula is based on proprietary customer research and insurance carrier assessments. InsuraMatch sponsored global market research firm, LightSpeed GMI, of Boston, Mass to survey more than 3,000 insurance customers across the country to measure customer opinions and satisfaction levels on both regional and national insurance companies.

InsuraMatch offers insurance from top carriers, including MetLife Auto and Home®, 21st Century, Mercury, ASI, Foremost, Titan and other major carriers (for a current list, go to insuramatch.com/carriers). The company will soon add more carriers to its growing list of partners and will be online in other states. For residents outside of New York and Pennsylvania, InsuraMatch will recommend insurance carriers who can serve them until the site launches in those markets.

Currently, InsuraMatch’s online quoting is available for auto insurance products but the site will launch additional real-time quotes on other products soon. Customers who want additional products, such as home and motorcycle insurance, can contact an InsuraMatch insurance agent by phone to connect them with those products, including bundling options and additional discounts.
